NATIONAL LABOUR AWARDS 2025
As part of the National Labour Conference, organized by the Ministry of Employment, Labour and Social Security in collaboration with its social partners; the Sierra Leone Labour Congress and the Sierra Leone Employers’ Federation, a Labour Award ceremony will be held to recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions to labour excellence across various categories.
This prestigious event will honour organizations and initiatives that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to innovation, quality, leadership, and inclusivity in the workforce.
The public is now invited to vote for nominees in the award categories listed below. Join us in celebrating those who are making a significant impact in shaping the future of work in Sierra Leone.

Voting is open to the public.
You may vote for only one candidate or entity per category.
Each vote counts towards determining the winner in each category.
Voting closes on Friday, 18th April 2025 at 5:00pm SL local time.

MERIT AWARD - Higher Education Institution of the year
This award celebrates institutions that have made significant contributions to labour market growth through academic excellence, skills development, and workforce readiness and strong partnerships with industries to enhance employment opportunities.
Merit award - Technical and Vocational Training (TVET) Institution of the year
This award celebrates a TVET institution that has excelled in providing industry-relevant training, bridging skills gaps, and promoting employability
Merit award - Agriculture Company of the year
This award celebrates an agriculture company that has shown exceptional performance, innovation, and contribution to the agricultural sector to the agricultural sector while demonstrating strong commitment to workers’ welfare and compliance with labour standards.
Merit award - Healthcare Institution of the year
This award honours a healthcare facility that has demonstrated excellence in service delivery, employee welfare, innovation, and contributions to public health and workplace well-being.
Merit award - Manufacturing Industry of the Year
